It is critical, unfortunately the system is rotten to the core with agendas and the very thing they accuse the entrepreneurial capitalists is something they themselves are engaged in and yet, they remain immune to the realities of; mostly due to the hijacking of the system and political influences.The future of our nation's educational system is at stake, whom will run this nation if we cannot give a viable education to the next generation; a countries strength and power can be wiped out in a single generation if education fails. Yet, academia will not come clean. Capitalism has been working in spite the socialist intervention, but the baggage and debris is about to collapse the roof on its house, so one needs to ask; who is really the intellectual strength of our civilization?Because from where I am standing, it seems rather silly for anyone to insist that our Universities and Colleges are educating our next generation in an efficient matter, academia is broken and if they cannot even run their own domain, I ask; How can we trust them to tell us how to run our civilization? Think on this; open for suggestions and comments.2 Recently, the sub-loan crisis, Lehman Brothers bankrupt, Merrill Lynch & Co. changed hands, the continued turmoil in the global economy, global financial crises are rampant. Unemployment and employment problem faced by various countries and has become the focus of attention, following, I will explain the impact of financial crisis on college students in detail, and give some advice to college students about responding to the financial crisis.First of all, under the impact of the financial crisis, the problem of the employment becomes more and more prominent. As more and more people attach importance to education, the number of college graduates is also increasing year by year, now, the financial-crisis make more difficult in the employment of college students.Secondly, the financial crisis forced the students to change the concept of employment. In the impact of the financial crisis, the students had to change the concept of previous employment, mainly in the following two aspects: First, students lowered the expectations of all aspects, such as high wages, good working environment, low-intensity work, and so on. Second, many college students are willing to go to small cities and rural areas to work.Third, the financial crisis makes the cost of looking for work higher. The cost includes time, money, energy, physical costs. Most small-size company bankrupt or being-bankrupt, they canceled the original recruitment plans, and even layoffs, making the position of jobs very few. There are many students voted in resume, no echo, spent a lot of energy and time.Fourth, more and more college students pay attention to the pre-vocational training. In order to adapt to the work, enterprise more and more pay attention to the quality of talent. University students in order to improve their competitiveness, many college students choose a pre-vocational training before work.Fifth, more and more college Students start their own business-plan. Under the influence of the financial crisis, college students start their own business-plan with the support and assistance of schools, government and society.Finally, under the employment pressure, an increasing number of graduates choose to further studies. In the severe employment pressure, most university graduates choose to continue to deepen their professional knowledge, in order to avoid a period of sluggish job market.Then, face the financial crisis, college students how to deal with this? （一）面向全體學生，為學生全面發(fā)展和終身發(fā)展奠定基礎(chǔ) 教學設(shè)計要符合學生生理和心理特點，遵循語言學習的規(guī)律，力求滿足不同類型和不同層次學生的需求，使每個學生的身心得到健康的發(fā)展。

在教學中教師應(yīng)該注意： 1、鼓勵學生大膽地使用英語，對他們學習過程中的失誤和錯誤采取寬容的態(tài)度； 2、要為學生提供自主學習和相互交流的機會以及充分表現(xiàn)和自我發(fā)展的空間； 3、鼓勵學生通過體驗、實踐、討論、合作、探究等方式，發(fā)展聽、說、讀、寫的綜合語言技能； 4、創(chuàng)造條件讓學生能夠探究他們自己感興趣的問題并自主解決問題。 （二）關(guān)注學生的情感，營造寬松、民主、和諧的教學氛圍 學生只有對自己、對英語及其文化、對英語學習有積極的情感，才能保持英語學習的動力并取得成績。

消極的情感不僅會影響英語學習的效果，而且會影響學生的長遠發(fā)展。因此，在英語教學中教師應(yīng)該自始至終關(guān)注學生的情感，努力營造寬松、民主、和諧的教學氛圍。

英語教師要做到： 1、尊重每個學生，積極鼓勵他們在學習中的嘗試，保護他們的自尊心和積極性； 2、把英語教學與情感教育有機地結(jié)合起來，創(chuàng)設(shè)各種合作學習的活動，促使學生互相學習、互相幫助，體驗集體榮譽感和成就感，發(fā)展合作精神； 3、特別關(guān)注性格內(nèi)向或?qū)W習有困難的學生，盡可能多地為他們創(chuàng)造語言實踐的機會； 4、建立融洽、民主的師生交流渠道，經(jīng)常和學生一起反思學習過程和學習效果，互相鼓勵和幫助，做到教學相長。 （三）倡導(dǎo)"任務(wù)型"的教學途徑，培養(yǎng)學生綜合語言運用能力 本《標準》以學生 "能做某事"的描述方式設(shè)定各級目標要求。

教師應(yīng)該避免單純傳授語言知識的教學方法，盡量采用"任務(wù)型"的教學途徑。 教師應(yīng)依據(jù)課程的總體目標并結(jié)合教學內(nèi)容，創(chuàng)造性地設(shè)計貼近學生實際的教學活動，吸引和組織他們積極參與。

學生通過思考、調(diào)查、討論、交流和合作等方式，學習和使用英語，完成學習任務(wù)。 在設(shè)計"任務(wù)型"教學活動時，教師應(yīng)注意以下幾點： 1、活動要有明確的目的并具有可操作性； 2、活動要以學生的生活經(jīng)驗和興趣為出發(fā)點，內(nèi)容和方式要盡量真實； 3、活動要有利于學生學習英語知識、發(fā)展語言技能，從而提高實際語言運用能力； 4、活動應(yīng)積極促進英語學科和其他學科間的相互滲透和聯(lián)系，使學生的思維和想像力、審美情趣和藝術(shù)感受、協(xié)作和創(chuàng)新精神等綜合素質(zhì)得到發(fā)展； 5、活動要能夠促使學生獲取、處理和使用信息，用英語與他人交流，發(fā)展用英語解決實際問題的能力； 6、活動不應(yīng)該僅限于課堂教學，而要延伸到課堂之外的學習和生活之中。

（四）加強對學生學習策略的指導(dǎo)，為他們終身學習奠定基礎(chǔ) 使學生養(yǎng)成良好的學習習慣和形成有效的學習策略是英語課程的重要任務(wù)之一。教師要有意識地加強對學生學習策略的指導(dǎo)，讓他們在學習和運用英語的過程中逐步學會如何學習。

教師應(yīng)做到： 1、積極創(chuàng)造條件，讓學生參與制訂階段性學習目標以及實現(xiàn)目標的方法； 2、引導(dǎo)學生結(jié)合語境，采用推測、查閱或詢問等方法進行學習； 3、設(shè)計探究式的學習活動，促進學生實踐能力和創(chuàng)新思維的發(fā)展； 4、引導(dǎo)學生運用觀察、發(fā)現(xiàn)、歸納和實踐等方法，學習語言知識，感悟語言功能； 5、引導(dǎo)學生在學習過程中進行自我評價并根據(jù)需要調(diào)整自己的學習目標和學習策略。 （五）拓展學生的文化視野，發(fā)展他們跨文化交際的意識和能力 語言與文化有密切的聯(lián)系，語言是文化的重要載體。

教師應(yīng)處理好二者的關(guān)系，努力使學生在學習英語的過程中了解外國文化，特別是英語國家文化；幫助他們提高理解和恰當運用英語的能力，不斷拓展文化視野，加深對本民族文化的理解，發(fā)展跨文化交際的意識和能力。 （六）利用現(xiàn)代教育技術(shù)，拓寬學生學習和運用英語的渠道 教師要充分利用現(xiàn)代教育技術(shù)，開發(fā)英語教學資源，拓寬學生學習渠道，改進學生學習方式，提高教學效果。

在條件允許的情況下教師應(yīng)做到： 1、利用音像和網(wǎng)絡(luò)資源等，豐富教學內(nèi)容和形式，提高課堂教學效果； 2、利用計算機和多媒體教學軟件，探索新的教學模式，促進個性化學習； 3、合理地開發(fā)和利用廣播電視、英語報刊、圖書館和網(wǎng)絡(luò)等多種資源，為學生創(chuàng)造自主學習的條件。 （七）組織生動活潑的課外活動，促進學生的英語學習 根據(jù)學生的年齡特點和興趣愛好，積極開展各種課外活動有助于學生增長知識、開闊視野、發(fā)展智力和個性、展現(xiàn)才能。

教師應(yīng)有計劃地組織內(nèi)容豐富、形式多樣的英語課外活動，如朗誦、唱歌、講故事、演講、表演、英語角、英語墻報、主題班會和展覽等。 教師要善于誘導(dǎo)，保護學生的好奇心，培養(yǎng)他們的自主性和創(chuàng)新意識。

（八）不斷更新知識結(jié)構(gòu)，適應(yīng)現(xiàn)代社會發(fā)展對英語課程的要求 教師應(yīng)不斷更新知識結(jié)構(gòu)，適應(yīng)現(xiàn)代社會發(fā)展對英語課程的要求。為此，教師應(yīng)該做到： 1、準確把握本課程標準的理念、目標和內(nèi)容，運用教育學和心理學理論，研究語言教學的規(guī)律。

根據(jù)學生的心理特征和實際情況，選擇和調(diào)整英語教學策略； 2、發(fā)展課堂教學的調(diào)控和組織能力，靈活運用各種教學技巧和方法； 3、掌握現(xiàn)代教育技術(shù)，并能。
